Flatfoot — where it's treated in the network

Pediatric flat feet — loss of foot arch height that shifts load distribution across the foot and the entire musculoskeletal system. Our network of 6 clinics offers biomechanical correction with CAD/CAM insoles and long-term monitoring, exercise therapy for intrinsic foot muscles, and orthopedic footwear selection. The program is available without travelling to China — at the Uzbek branch of the network.

About the condition

What is Flat Feet?

Flat feet means a reduction in foot arch height (longitudinal and/or transverse), shifting load distribution across the foot and further onto shin, knee and spine. ICD-10 codes it as Q66.5 (congenital pes planovalgus) and M21.4 (acquired flat foot). Prevalence is 5–25% of children depending on criteria; most cases are flexible flat foot. Under age 3–4 a 'fat-pad' arch is normal; pathological flat foot is diagnosed after age 4–5.

Families reach the network case manager for biomechanical correction with CAD/CAM insoles and follow-up every 6 months during active growth. Details on diagnostics, the correction program and outcomes are in the expandable blocks below.
