Clinic profile

What sets it apart

What makes this clinic recognisable across the network — methods, team and the support around families.

One team around the child: a Western-school neurologist, a rehabilitation specialist and a sixth-generation traditional Chinese medicine doctor build the course around the child's condition rather than handing out a standard package

A general hospital with its own diagnostics — MRI, EEG and video-EEG monitoring, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory: related examinations and consultations happen in the same building, with no transfers

Support for international families: invitation letter and visa documents, an interpreter at appointments and sessions, parents stay alongside the child; help with housing next to the hospital

Patient journey

How working with the clinic unfolds

The baseline scenario from the first video call to going home. Each family has its own rhythm — the coordinator adjusts the plan.

01 / 04

Video consultation

The network coordinator forwards reports, discharge notes and videos to Boya's doctors — the physician reviews the records and explains what the programme would consist of. The document review is free, with no prepayment.

02 / 04

Arrival and settling in Yuncheng

The hospital helps with the invitation letter and visa documents; in Yuncheng the family is met and helped with housing next to the hospital and with everyday matters.

03 / 04

Rehabilitation course

An intensive programme — 6 days a week, 7–8 hours of sessions a day: physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, sensory integration, instrument-based physiotherapy and TCM methods. The recommended course is 2–3 months.

04 / 04

Follow-up and repeat course

Progress is tracked through repeat functional assessment — based on its results the doctor adjusts the programme and recommends the timing of a repeat course.
